awsome when it works Mar 09, 2010
I have bought 3 jawbones and each time they work great for the first 30-60 days. and then boom, the unit will no longer hold a charge. When the sucker works it is the best in terms of incoming/outgoing calls. The mistake I made with the first one is that I threw out the receipt and now I have a dead jawbone sitting on my counter. bought 2# thinking maybe I just got a lemon. but the same problem occur about the 30 day mark so I returned and replaced it with #3. #3 lasted 60 days and the same problem occurred. As much as I like this headset, it seems dosen't want to work for me. Returned #3. I have an Iphone 3G.

The tiny stem on the ear holder breaks very easily. You can NOT put this in your pants pocket, coat pockets okay, but still prone to breaking, and shirt pocket is best. That combined with the buttons are part of the housing so if it's in your pocket, any pocket, it's easily turned on or off which either wears down the battery, or is synched with the phone when you don't expect it, like answering a call.

The sound is okay for a small ear piece. It has good noise cancelling which the other end of the conversation appreciates, and so do I.

Bottom line it has to be carried around like a precious device, which is impractical.

Good enough product. Clear sound. It just doesn't fit well and keeps sliding around after a short time. After trying all the fittings that came with it to get a comfortable correct fit, I just can't seem to get it to quit sliding around. I personally would not get an over-the-ear type again. I've tried the models since that sit in the ear and they work or me. I wish I had shopped longer. Good product...it's just not for me.

The Jawbone 2 is the worst purchase I've ever made in my life, it is a total piece of crud. This thing died a week after I bought it. I wish I had read more reviews before buying this, because it appears that many, many people are having the exact same problem. The people at Jawbone have absolutely no answer to this problem but to return the product for a new one. Why the heck would I want a new one when it is also likely to die in a week or so. Save yourself the frustration and absolutely DO NOT BUY THE JAWBONE 2!!!
